    I’m reading a lot of advice lately about ‘above the fold content’. Does that mean that the typical template/theme design we see out there – giant image slider above, 3-4 content blocks below, and body content at the bottom – is in direct conflict with that advice?

This makes me wonder whether even a well-performing site on the ux/conversion side is being punished in some way. Any thoughts on that or am I just mis-reading it?

          I would never default to Google versus a user experience. In fact, I’d argue that sites that have shallow page content are often more difficult to rank. Our clients see much better results when they have ‘thicker’ content. If your users love your content, then Google will love your content!
